Lectures > Lecture 8Lecture 8 by Stéphane Roux, Université Paris Saclay, ENS Paris Saclay, CentraleSupélec, CNRS, Laboratoire de Mécanique Paris Saclay, France. Title: Materials law identification Digital Volume Correlation (DVC) provides full 3D displacement fields from volume registration from successive tomographic images of a solid subjected to increasing loads. In turn, these displacement fields may be used in a “weighted Finite Element Updating” to identify a constitutive law of the studied solid and validate the resulting model. It may even be fused with the DVC procedure into a single "Integrated DVC" algorithm. Finally, one may only work on projections (radiographs) to obtain a better load resolution. Biography: Stéphane Roux is a CNRS Senior Researcher, working in experimental mechanics, more specifically on quantitative imaging techniques as a bridge between experiment and modelling. |
